Basta Callejón

Head here for black lights, graffiti and Jim Carrey movies on 30-year-old TVs.

Cigarette smoke, the smell of weed, graffiti, black lights, street art, the Jim Carrey classic movie "The Mask" playing on 30-year-old TVs, and having a drink in a rundown bus in a repurposed garage turned nightlife hotspot called Basta Callejón. A kitchen makes street food staples while bartenders serve Argentine classics like fernet y cola and vermouth to wash it all down at this hole-in-the-wall underground lair. These weird places you never knew existed but randomly stumble upon are what make Buenos Aires a continuous source of surprises.
